Canyon Lake held the Billies to one run in their first meeting while they have an eight run per game average.

The other team, Wimberley was shut out by your Hawks the first time around.

Wimberley beat Fredericksburg
Canyon Lake beat Wimberley
Fredericksburg beat Canyon Lake

If that same scenario happens where each team beats each other, then someone like Canyon Lake who was only beat by Bandera by two runs.

This game with a win, could put the Hawks in a great situation the second time around the league play.

The Hawks have pitching. Giving up 1.6 runs per game the first round through district.

The Hawks are improving with the defense. They have 1.7 errors per game in the last five games after averaging 3.5 errors the first 16 games.

The Hawks need more improvement with hitting. With the last two games 23 runs have been scored which sounds good, but now the second time through Canyon Lake must be more consistent to make the team more rounded.

The hitting will be the one item that needs to change for the Hawks to wrap up their first chance to order Play-Off T-Shirts.

The Hawks start the campaign this Friday at the Hawk diamond at 6:00 pm.
