Bracken Boys Basketball start District play Cold, Lose 41-30

Bracken Christian Boys Basketball started District play on the short end, losing to Kerrville OLH, 41-30.

The Tuesday night game started with the Warriors enjoying a seven point lead the first three minutes of the game.

But that is when the lids were put on the basket as BCS next basket happened with four minutes left in the second quarter. While the cold shooting was taking place, the Hawks from Kerrville had tacked on 13 unanswered points.

Bracken did not do themselves any favors missing 10 free throws in the game.

A Connor Higgins three pointer in the fourth quarter pulled BCS within seven points with five minutes still on the clock, 32-25.

OLH had other plans for the rest of the game, outscoring the Warriors 9-5 to close out the 11 point win.

BCS was led by Austin Johnson with 13 points. Donald Loving hit double figures on the boards with 10.
