Baseball: Navarro Wins Series against Hawks, 9-7
Navarro beat the Hawks last Friday night at the Hawks diamond, 9-7, completing
Third Baseman Dylan Adams
the series winning two of the three games.
The Hawks found themselves ahead of the Panthers again in this game as Canyon Lake started with five runs in the first two innings.
Canyon Lake lost the lead in the top of the six inning when Navarro scored two runs giving them the difference for the final score.
Kyler Huff continued his strong at bats with two hits and three hits in the last two games. Huff’s hits were highlighted with a triple in this game.
Conner Drum also had a break out game with a triple and driving in two runs for the game.
Huff had the mound for the game and taking the loss.
Michael Brady continues his strong play behind the plate by throwing out another would be stealer for the game. Brady also continued his on base streak with a hit in the game.
Travis Walker also had an extra base hit with a double and rbi.
Canyon Lake will finish the season this week with a two game stint against with first place Boerne.
Next game at home will be Friday at Canyon Lake starting at 7:00 pm.
