Girls Track: CL has Another Good Day at Tiger Relays

The Hawks were off to Dripping Springs last week and both the Girls and Boys Tracksters continue to improve with personal and team bests.

The Girls 4×400 Relay improved their time by five seconds as they brought there time down to 4:11.15 which would place this Relay group to three seconds better than the second place best of Fredericksburg.

The ReSporter has compiled the best times in the District this year and have those times below.

Canyon Lake is presently in fifth place but they improved their point total by 20 points in the last week giving them a great chance to finish in fourth place next week for the District Meet.

The Girls also have some marks that have a chance to advance to State this year.

Marissa Ellis has a Region best of 5’3” for the High Jump and 36’6” in the Triple Jump. Both of these marks could send this Junior to State this season.

The ReSporter will break down the four different areas of Track and Field over this weekend before the District Meet being held on Canyon Lake’s cinders next Tuesday and Wednesday.

District 26-3A has some good athletes that will be performing close by, so come out and watch these students perform.

The results below have been compiled by all the teams with the athletes best time to date for this season.

Below you have the top six times and any other Hawk Athlete on the forms below.

So the event with the Athlete the team they represent and the Meet that they had that performance.

The last column is the date of that performance. This is important because it will tell you if that athlete is peaking at the right time.
