If this game would of been scheduled for the 2010 season, then this would of been dubbed the game of the Year for TAPPS. Both teams ended up with undefeated State Championship records in Division I and II that season.

The story ends there for Brenham Christian Eagles as graduation took its toll on this smaller classification school and now find themselves losing their only game for this season two weeks ago to Emery-Weiner team in Houston.

Last year Brenham finished with three victories and no playoffs and now find themselves with an injury prone squad that will be dressing only nine players.

Bracken had a much better run after their 14-0 Championship run, when they missed playing for the whole enchilada by three yards in their final four game against Abilene Christian the eventual Champion last year.

Not much is known about this club but the one loss, but not scoring and then taking two weeks off would not seem the best way to start a season.

Emery-Weiner has two wins and have increased their scoring in each contest, so you could deduce that Brenham Christian has a decent defense.

Brenham game with Emery-Weiner was 0-0 after the first quarter and two of their second quarter scores came from the defensive side of the ball.

Either way you dice it up, Bracken Christian will be facing some unknowns going into this game.

The Warriors have taken a week off, but with the bumps and bruises this thin team has had already, the off week was a welcome sight.

In the Sugar Land Logos game, Bracken unleashed their second best total yardage game in their history, missing the most yards by just 23 yards. The difference was two weeks ago the Warriors ended the game before it was over and that little fact kept this team from racking up the most yards ever.

BCS certainly has the weapons to take care of this Eagle squad and unless they forget where the field is, then this should be another win for the Warriors.

The two teams Bracken played in scrimmages this season are a combined 6-0 so far and the two victims for this season also have fared well against their foes with a 2-2 record subtracting the two losses to the Warriors.

Bracken will be developing depth in this game as their game with Boerne Geneva next week will for all intense and purposes be for the District Championship.
