BCS Takes Care of Business in Beating OLH, 60-14
Bracken Christian finished their regular season with three years running of having at most, just one defeat.
Running backs, Preston Koch and Eli Achilles had their second consecutive game where both runners finished with over 100 yards rushing.
Bracken also scored in various ways, running, receiving, interception return, and kick-off return. Pretty much a complete game in all aspects.
Eli Achilles started things off with a 68 yard interception return for a touchdown.
OLH had the ball for the first 14 plays of the game and the only thing this Hawk team could claim was zero points on the board.
Bracken Christian then responded with their longest drive of the game, going 74 yards on seven plays.
Every play but their final run of three yards was an 11 yard or more run, by Koch or Achilles. This drive had Koch with 42 yards and Achilles with two runs for 32 yards.
Eight drives and eight scores for BCS.
A perfect strike from Achilles to Davis Scott for 58 yards was the Warriors next score after a 10 yard run from Mason Anthony.
Bracken was good on six of their eight point afters, which is a crucial part of this teams playoff run mantra.
Getting those those points could of resulted in another undefeated regular season for the Warriors. So, this development will continue to help in that final score.
Jeremy Fasenmyer had the third interceptions in this contest, stopping another OLH drive and in turn getting this Warrior team ready to do some more damage.
Koch had three carries for 28 yards, the final three for a touchdown which helped him join Achilles in the 100 yard rushing fraternity.
Offensively, BCS is starting to settle in with some good results with several players.
Bracken is presently working on 12 consecutive drives with a touchdown as the result.
The Warriors will start their playoff season next Saturday in Rockdale at 2pm.
Their opponent will be an opponent BCS played earlier this season. Sugarland Logos will bring their 6-3 record in hopes of springing an upset over Bracken.
Stay tuned to more coverage as this game approaches.
Go Warriors!!
