Lady Hawks Basketball Finish Season with Loss, 45-25

Senior night for Canyon Lake Girls Basketball said good-night to several players in their loss to Navarro, 42-25.

Freshman Sarah Russell will come out guns blazing for next Basketball season

 
Amber Ramsey finished in double figure rebounds with 12 while also finishing up her career with two more blocks as she added a number that might be passed any time soon.

Emily Muniz was another Senior that improved this season after dusting off the moth balls from being inactive from not playing last year.

Freshman Sarah Russell came on as this season culminated as she finished with 8 points while she was perfect from outside the three point arc.

Junior Kyndall Drum also finished up a very productive season as this player continued to improve in all aspects of her game.

Canyon Lake suffered from their lack of execution on the offensive side of the court with Mia Riali being out with an injury these past few games leaving another offensive player watching from the bench.

This team will be returning several underclassman and with an improving Junior Varsity team, then hopefully better results will be in the future for Canyon Lake.

Now many of these girls will be putting on a track outfit or softball uniform as the quest for more competition continues through the end of the year.
