Hawks Can’t Hide in Loss to Hyde Park, 6-5

the sixth inning losing, 6-5.

The Hawks had forged into a two run lead late in this game to see HP come back and take the win.

Alexis Robinson saw her six game winning streak come to an end with this loss. But in this loss Robinson did not have a walk and that helped keep the game within striking or strikeout distance.

In fact, with her 67 pitches, 51 were strikes.

Sam York led CL with 2 rbi while Tiare Kacir was the only multi hit batter against the Hyde Park ace.

Canyon Lake will now take a few days off as Spring Break will commence and the Hawks will take the field in the San Marcos Tournament in 10 days.

The Hawks still are carrying some impressive numbers into this break.

An overall batting average of .366 will keep any team in the hunt with an impressive .442 on base percentage and .511 slugging percentage you have to like what is being seen at the plate.
