Five games and five receptions will give you an idea of what type of offense Canyon Lake will be facing when they go toe to toe with Liberty Hill this Friday.
This Panther team has a decent 3-2 record and based on their opposition you can also deduce that their games were against a much better group of schools than what CL has embraced this season.
With that being said, Canyon Lake will have to be on their ‘A’ game this week and having mistakes in this game will not result in seven and one point losses.
Liberty Hill has been running their offense much longer than your Hawks and that will also pose a problem in how well Canyon Lake will be able to run in this game.
LH has several rushers that have over seven yards per carry which will give you an idea of how the Hawks will need to have a good defensive effort.

As a team, Liberty Hill is averaging 7.5 yards per carry and 31.4 yards per reception. A lot of big play potential for a team that has losses to two marquee names in La Grange and Abilene Wylie.
LH has rushed for 1864 yards in their first five games for a lofty 373 yards per game.
First District 14-4A-I game and what type of practices CL has had and how this team will react after two games where fumbles were way too common.
Eliminate errors and the Hawks could make this game a shocker with a good defensive effort.
Canyon Lake has a better passing game, but in the greater scheme of things that might not mean anything with two rushing offenses.
Tim Romero had a good opening game against Lampasas as he could help with his speed coupled with Josh DeVries.
Bruising rushers Robert Woods and Hayden DuBois can also produce and if that happens an upset.
How will Head Coach Charlie Drum use his offensive players on the defensive side of the ball will also be a good chess match to be aware of as this game matures into the fourth quarter.
Get on the road for a game that might be very short based on how each team’s rushing game produces.
The Halftime Bands might have a longer time on the field.
Go Hawks!!!
