All-Time Softball Team & All-Time Stats Based on a Season

Canyon Lake would be able to put a pretty ‘Salty’ group of young ladies on the field if you could bring players together while they were in their hay day while in school.
First on the list would be Missy Romero who not only was a good pitcher, but her bat and glove was certainly one of the bests in school history.
The ReSporter will put Missy as the player in the circle for this team as she finished her career with a 2.77 ERA and 641 strikeouts.
What might be even more impressive was walking just 110 players while at CL in her 500 innings of being in the circle.
The ReSporter has Romero batting second in the batting order as she had the ability to do control her bat with power and average. Her speed was decent and all these put together makes this player a shoe in.
Romero was playing in the days when there was not much hitting and it was evident that many opposing teams did not have to worry if she drew a base on balls.
That person that Romero would be pitching to is Brianna Young. Young and Katy Payne were two players that were very similar, but Young gets The ReSporter’s seal of approval based on how she could reach base and her bat was solid as well.
Young had a way of making opposing players not want to score a run if a throw was coming home, just leave it at that.
The ReSporter will have Young batting clean-up and feels she too would be a better hitter with more bats performing with the team presented in this article.
Carly Dubois would make the All-Star Hawk Team in Centerfield and leading off batting.
Lead off hitter is also a no doubter as Carly Dubois has shown in her two years of playing that she can bat for average as well as disrupting a team with her speed.
The ReSporter would have this young lady in Center Field as her speed presents a smaller area of real estate the other two outfielders allowing the Hawks to guard the lines.
Batting in the Three Hole would be Alexis Robinson, this young lady has been awesome at the plate in her 3 years of playing as her power and softball I Q would make getting 3 Up and 3 Down a major accomplishment.
The ReSporter has penciled Robinson in at First Base as her pitching circle is already occupied.
