                  Hawks with Medals after 3rd Place Finish in Fredericksburg

Canyon Lake’s Golf team pulled in a 3rd place trophy in Fredericksburg on Tuesday as Chance Martelli headed the Hawks with a 90 finish.

“We played well and posted our best scores of the season,” Head Golf Coach Lucas Chapman birdied. “We have really improved and made some strides throughout the course of the season.”

The Hawks will be in the heat of the battle as next week it is for keeps as district will commence.

“It is good to be playing our best golf going into district next week,” Chapman assessed.

This year, Canyon Lake has been a young school with young players as golf is no exception as there is just one golfer that is a Junior (Justin Bruce) while all the rest of the club reside with Freshman or Sophomore credentials.

Saying that there is not much need for shaving cream would be an understatement.
