Canyon Lake’s Tennis Team went to the Judson ISD Tournament last weekend and competed with the big schools as the Spring Season continues sprout as the weather gets warmer and days start to elongate.

“We started the tournament with a 2 and half delay due to the fog and dew on the courts,” Head Tennis Coach Kirstin McStravick said. “I am proud to announce our very own Ian Hasness got 2nd place at the tournament.”

Hasness won the first game, 6-3 and then his opponent had the same score against Ian in the second game which had both combatants having a tiebreaker that Hasness took by a convincing, 10-2 score.

This was not a small feat as the Hawks were playing 6A schools and finishing this high bodes well as Hasness continues this campaign.
