CL Lady Hawks Lose to Freddie, 70-53
Freshman Lainee Moses getting valuable minutes on Varsity
The Lady Hawks will have just one more game in Bandera after another hard fought loss to Fredericksburg last Friday, 70-53.
With a young team, many times victories come in different sizes. The Hawks continue to show improvement during their second go around in District 28-4A play.
CL found themselves down just 4 points after the first quarter and finishing with 53 points for the game was a good sign as Canyon Lake will now start to concentrate on next season with plenty of girls ready to prepare for better results.
Reagan Heun finished with a team high of 28 points while her teammate, Alexa Ramos had one of her best games of the year scoring 15 points.

The girls suffer much like the Boy’s Basketball Team at the free throw line. CL Girls were only successful 9 out of 22 tries leaving a lot of potential points not being realized.
Another good development was committing just 8 turnovers which will be a good stat to keep in mind as improvements will start to commence with some time and repletion on the hard wood during the off season.
Canyon Lake will have their final game at home as Bandera will be visiting the Hawk Nest.
Come out and support this young crew of ladies and pay some accolades to Mia Riali with her final game in the Hawk gym.
