Lady Hawks Basketball improve to 3-0 after Win over Johnson City, 54-19

CL Lady Hawks Basketball are now 3-0 after win over Johnson City in a game played last Friday at the Hawk Nest, 54-19.

The Hawks are winning games that should be wins as this team continues to get many of their new ladies just fresh off of the Volleyball team battle tested and ready for a season with many more contests.
Sophomore Chelsea Tschoepe has come to the forefront as she finished with 21 points and now 18 steals after three games played.
Tschoepe would finish scoring more points than the JC Eagles accumulated for the game.
Jessie Martinez had 12 rebounds with a dominating inside game while dishing off a game hight 5 assists for the Hawks.
The third Sophomore of this Trifecta had Marley Carrizales finishing with 11 points and 3 steals in the win.

This sophomore crew had 39 of the 54 points and with several players healing this had players that stepped up.
Canyon Lake’s next game on the hardwood will be this Tuesday when they welcome the Wimberley Texans and a chance to improve their season with 4 straight wins.
