Another week is in the books and both the Girls & Boys Basketball broke even with one win and one loss.
The Hawks Boys team had a big win over Wimberley on Tuesday with a last second shot for the win, that was followed up with their first District 28-4A opener and loss to Hondo. Canyon Lake was present for just 3 quarters for this 4 quarter game as CL would be digging out of a hole after being 19 points to the bad for the Owls.
The Lady Hawks started with a loss to Boerne and then turned that around by beating the Lady Owls for the 3rd time this season.
Canyon Lake will have the Boys home on Tuesday with a game with Fredericksburg while the Ladies play the Billies on the road.
On Friday both teams will take on the Bandera Bulldogs.
Don’t forget that Canyon Lake Broadcasting will have all the home games on a Live Stream if you are not able to attend the Hawk Nest. Those contests will start with pre-game at 6:15pm and tip-off commences at 6:30pm.
CL’s Ladies Soccer were all tied up this week in the Fredericksburg Tournament as all three games were a carbon copy with, 1-1 ties in all three battles.
Canyon Lake Sports will be Broadcasting Home District Games!
One of those ties was with Fredericksburg which will give you a good idea on how good this group of ladies will be this season.
Canyon Lake Boys won their contest last week and will be Hosting the Canyon Lake Classic Tournament this week starting on Thursday and final game will be Saturday.
It will not be long before those Spring Sports will start to spring up during the first part of February.
