Canyon Lake will be finishing up regular season with the girls Basketball and the Boys will be scheduled for Tuesday and then one more scheduled contest that next Tuesday contest.
For the Girls Basketball, a win or loss will not change the fact that they will draw a No. 1 Seed in their playoff contests. Canyon Lake will have their Bi-District game on either February 12 or 13 of next week.
A good chance that opponent will be Gonzales and The ReSporter will give you details as soon as possible so plans can be made.
The Boys Basketball still have a chance to represent District 28-4A as a 4th seed with a win on Tuesday night at the Hawk Nest. CL will play Bandera, which is the only victory on the Hawks district schedule up to this point of the seas
Another win will seal that deal and a loss will have to implement a tie-breaker to find that school for that spot.
Soccer will be starting their District Schedule this week. The Boys are still undefeated and have 2 ties thus far. CL’s Boys willl have a non-district game with Pleasanton on Tuesday before the games go up in intensity on Friday.
The Girls won their game last week against Floresville and have Boerne coming to town on Friday to raise the curtain to their district battles.
Softball will enter their last week of scrimmages with bouts against Blanco and Boerne Champion this week.
Baseball will have their first pitch on Monday when they scrimmage Llano with the JV teams in the batter’s box first at 500pm, then the Varsity will unveil their first game under the new Coach, Victor Escamilla.
Golf will be swinging for greens with the Ladies on Monday and then Boys getting their driver out on Wednesday. Both teams will travel to Seguin to open their season.
Spring Season will be in full bloom next week when our Track Teams come out of their blocks.
Go Hawks!!
