    Bunk-Haus says Go Hawks!!

Canyon Lake had a decent week which was headed up by the Boys Soccer team that did have a Header with 14 seconds left to win the Canyon Lake Classic Tournament last Saturday agains San Antonio Christian.

The Hawk Cheerleaders won the UIL Championship too!!

Boys Basketball broke even with a win over Bandera after losing to Fredericksburg on Tuesday.

For the Ladies Basketball crew, it was a different story after ending the week with two losses to Bandera and Fredericksburg.

Those two set-backs has Canyon Lake tied for 2nd Place after the first round contests being concluded.

Those losses will put some added pressure on CL as they will need to right the ship and keep a good seed by finishing 2nd place. That result will be on stage this Tuesday when the Boerne Greyhounds visit the Hawk Nest with the winner establishing the inside track for a 2nd Place Finish.

For the Boy’s Team, the Hawks rebounded with a decisive win over Bandera on Friday after suffering a heart-breaking loss to Fredericksburg to start the week.

              Go Canyon Lake!!

Boerne will be a road contest that has not been a friendly confines away from Canyon Lake. A win is doable and if that can be pulled off, then The Lake will have a good chance of finishing as one of the top 2 teams in District 28-4A play.

Wimberley will be the home game on Friday as those Rival Texans come calling. Canyon Lake has won 2 of the last 3 battles with our Neighbors on the other side of Devil’s Back-Bone. This game will end the first round of district play and that should give a clearer picture of how this season might come together.

Boys Soccer will be on the road in going to Gonzales and Floresville. CL tied Gonzales but lost a shoot-out in an earlier contest.

Floresville is a 5A School that has already started their district games.

The Lady Hawk Soccer team will be in La Vernia on Tuesday as they will go to work in changing and trying to improve their 1-5 record.
