                         Go Hawks!

Canyon Lake had a decent week as the Football contests were all on the winning side starting with the Hawk Gold team beat Hays Freshman B. That was followed by both Sub-Varsity (Freshman & JV) rocked Smithville that was followed by an offensive outburst by the Varsity with a run-a-way win, 55-28.

Blanco will be CL’s 2nd home game and with a win, the Hawks, will have some momentum entering into district play after an off week.

The Freshman will play the Panther’s JV squad as Canyon Lake’s JV will have a scheduled game during the off-week in Seguin.

Volleyball Varsity had an off week but will be back in action this week with their final non-district tilt on Tuesday in Marion. On Friday, The Lake, will be on the road again as District 28-4A opens play in Boerne for your Hawks.

Canyon Lake is on a 6 game winning streak entering the next 5 weeks of district competition. It looks to be a 4 team race based on non-district records as Fredericksburg, Boerne, Wimberley, and Canyon Lake all look poised to make a date with more games entering November in Post-Season play.

CL Hawks first home Volleyball battle will be on Tuesday October 1st when Llano will meet at the Hawk Nest.

       Way to be a Hero Hawks!!

Coach Chapman will be suffering on Monday when the Fall Golf Season will hit the links starting at 8am in San Antonio.

Tennis is winding down their season when they will welcome another powerhouse District 28-4A Fredericksburg.

Cross Country will be in Comfort this Saturday for their Oktoberfest Invitational.
