Canyon Lake worked hard for their win over Poth on Tuesday night after taking a best of 5 contest after a comeback and 15-11 last set winner.

                       Go Hawks!!

“I’m proud of all the girls and everyone contributed,” Head Coach Kim Clemons stated. “We just have to do a better job of communication as that was the main reason for a slow start and losing our other set. But it was a fun night especially since we came home with a win.”

With poor communication, the Lake, started this away game with a lethargic, 17-25 first set loss, but were quick to turn that set back with a close, 25-23 win to tie this battle up.

Poth continued to keep the pressure on the Hawks after going up, 2-1 on sets with a rebounding, 25-21 victory.

The Hawks were able to right their ship in time and finished the game in taking the next set, 25-20 that put these two tired schools to play in the first to 15 winner take all set.

Some notable stats below tells a story as Libero Kaylee Moore finished with 33 digs that moved her to 9th place on the All-Time Hawk Dig List.
