Hawk Volleyball was on the short end of the stick last Friday after being swept by Boerne and now needing a win over Bandera to have a seat at the playoff table in District 28-4A play.

A loss would have Canyon Lake needing a play-in battle with Fredericksburg to see post-season action.

                Let’s Go Hawks!!

The Billies have games left with Boerne and Wimberley and if FHS can pull off an upset then that would go a long way in booting CL Hawks from that same table.

This year there are 5 schools battling for 4 spots so as the district stands right now, the Hawks and Freddie are the two schools that need a win against one other school to stamp their hand for a chance to get on the dancing floor.

Bandera has beaten Freddie twice and had an earlier match with Canyon Lake decided in 5 games. The last contest of the season next Friday will have the Bulldogs at the Hawk Nest.

That will give your Hawks a clear day in knowing their future in the weirdest year of competition since Volleyball had their first serve 13 years ago.

An automatic spot or needing one more round with Fredericksburg for that coveted spot on the dance floor.

Go Hawks!!
