INFORMATION ON TODAY’S GAME WITH NAVARRO

What to expect about today’s game.

The rain may delay the start time. The Reagan - Smithson Valley game 3
that is scheduled before the CL game might push back the Hawk’s contest
until a 10pm start with a drop dead at midnight and a continuation on Monday.

The Field is playable 15 minutes after the last drop of rain.

For yesterday’s loss to the Panthers, the Hawks, were beaten by the better team.

“We will prepare like we always do and stay the same,” Head Coach Victor Escamilla said after being asked how CL will come into their next battle. Their pitcher was around the plate and we just have to be able to make adjustments and did not do that today.”

CL’s bats and pitching was not up to par which contributed to the set-back. Navarro’s pitching staff did walk 8 Hawks but with having just 4 hits helped mute those base runners.

The Lake was able to tie the score after a controversial sacrifice fly with a Hawk runner being caught off base on the throw-in, but the decision on the field had Chase Anderson scoring before the last out.

Navarro, on their half of that same inning were able to get 6 consecutive players on base after a first out fly to left-field.

Scoring 3 runs and leaving the Hawks with their first loss in post-season play.

CL has not lost two games in a row this season and will look to rebound on what could be a long day that could stretch into a Monday finish.
