Canyon Lake’s Boys & Girls Swim Team Finish 12th/11th in TISCA Meet
Canyon Lake has not participated in the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) Championship in 3 years and there were a lot of personal best swims.
Levi Garner captured the Boy’s 200 Individual Medley title setting both a Pool and School Records. Garner and Caleigh Krystyniak both made the 100 Breaststroke finals with Garner finishing 3rd and Krystyniak finished 5th in the Girls 200 Individual Medley.
CL’s Boys 4×100 Individual Medley finished 5th and The Lake had participants that had participants in consolation finals in Boys 100 Butterfly (Conner McCullogh), 100 Freestyle (Milo Martin-Rider) and Girls 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle Relays (Krystyniak, Kaylee Calaway, Emorie Jones and Madilyn Wilson.
Both the Boys & Girls are dropping time and setting personal and school records as the season continues.
“I and anticipating we will become faster and more competitive as both a team and as individuals,” Head Swimming Coach Page Small said.
Team totals are below and an array of schools were in attendance from as far west as Pecos to Alice and all the schools in between.
