Track Season will return from their Spring Break this Thursday when they travel the Back-Bone with the prelims and field events start at 3pm.

New Advertiser that wants the Hawk Nation to Succeed!!

For the Boys Track Squad, this season has been a work in progress with the main event coming with Coby Mickey in the Pole-Vault with his school record 14-7 attained in his last meet. That broke Christian Dittman’s mark by one inch.

Mickey represented CL at the State Meet last year but did not place that left a new resolve to get back to see if there might be some medals in the offing.

Speaking of Pole-Vaulting…The Lake’s, defending champion on the Ladies side Alencia Lentz who had a PR with her jump at, 14-00 which topped her previous jump that landed her as the best in the State (13-6) for the 4A Classification.

That event alone would be worth the short drive to see The Lake actually really Rising!!

There is another Hawk (Shana Cutrer) who reached a Vault of, 9-06 which is places her tied for the 3rd best with Amber Leach.

                          Let’s Go Hawks!!

Savanna Olberholtzer is another Hawk that is #1 on CL’s Top 10 when she soared 17-11.00 in the Long Jump. That leap beat our previous best by Madison Churbe who reached 16-05.00.

There are other Hawks that have done well by have had previous bests reached later during the track season which is the optimal as each participant wants to show their best when those goals allow you to possibly reach Austin.

In addition to Mickey in the pole-vault, the boys PR’s reside in distance events with Layton Hemann reaching new highs with new lows with each passing track-meet.
