District 14 Standings & Recap

District 14 play will commence this Thursday when your Hawks and JFK kick-off for games become for keeps.

The district has Somerset at the head of this class followed by The Lake and Davenport each with one loss on this season.

Three schools batting .500 and Fredericksburg without a win going into this week. The Billies have played the hardest schedule so their record can’t be taken lightly.

Each week one school will be idle because there are 7 schools in district.

Canyon Lake has blossomed into an up and comer school riding a 3 game winning streak while JFK won their last contest, 62-0. The Hawks lead the district in scoring even tho that opening game was a shut-out.

That has CLHS with a 51 point per game average leading the district foes. Veterans Memorial played both Canyon Lake (77-40) & Davenport (35-21) for a little eye-ball candy.

Strength of schedule is the only way of deducing how these first two weeks will play out.
