                     Way to Go Hawks!!

There was some good times this past week when CL’s Girls Soccer tied State Ranked Wimberley and the Boys Basketball nailed down a 3rd place district finish and will play their first playoff game since the 2019 season.

First off the Lady Soccer team will certainly be tested again this week when they host Marble Falls on Tuesday and then a huge battle at Davenport (another team that is state ranked).

Basketball was placed in the small school playoff bracket and with a win on Tuesday would be paired with the winner with Gonzales and Pearsall later this week (probably Friday).

This game will be broadcasted and The ReSporter looks to share a link for that game if getting there would not be possible.

Softball had a tough week but they played larger schools in the Wurst Tournament and did have a lot of reps and looking to see improvement as this team has freshman taking on important roles with added depth with some stalwart seniors.

This weekend will have games in Austin at the Hyde Park Tourney and Tuesday a road trip to Marble Falls.

CL Hawks Baseball will start their season on Monday when Devine comes to the Hawk Nest and then off to an always tough Sinton Tournament which will go a long ways to see just what this group of players might be able to accomplish.

Track & Field was pitted against several large schools during their Comal Relays and The ReSporter hopes to have those results this week!
