Lake’s Track & Field Results from Hawk Relays~Ladies Top 10 All-Time

Way to Stay in Shape Hawks!
Canyon Lake’s Lady Hawk Tracksters finished with 172 points at the Hawk Relays with Savanna Oberholtzer garnering 39 points to lead The Lake to a first place spot amongst 7 schools.
Oberholtzer finished first in the Long Jump/Triple Jump/100 meter dash and helped the Hawk 4×100 Relay with a first place finish.
The ReSporter does not know at this writing all the participants Canyon Lake used in their relay events so points on this article might not be correct.
Other Lady Hawks who finished in double digit scoring Hannah Hammer (20 pts), Te’a Gonzales (15 pts), Kennedy Grindle (17 pts), Eva Zabarcencu (12 pts), Aubrey Avey (14 pts).
Freshman Te’a Gonzales will be a fun athlete to watch as she finished 3rd 100 meter dash (3rd best Hawk History) and 5th in the long jump. How bout Freshman Macie Paredez who finished 8th place in the 1600 meter run but her time placed 6th place in Hawk’s All-Time list and 5th place for the 3200 meter run.

The Lake had 3 who placed in the Pole Vault which was a first in Hawk history.

The 4×100 relay already lowered their time past the 50 second mark as well as individuals like Avey who reached 45.53 seconds which was approximately where she finished her season last year.
Hannah (put the Hammer down) in her distance events as she prepares to finish higher than her 4th place finish at the Region IV Meet a year earlier.

Tessa Jones won her JV 300 meter hurdle event and came home with over 14 points (not counting any relays) and Trinity Jones finished 3rd in two events (400m~high jump) garnering 12 points (not counting relays).
Oberholtzer scored in all 5 of her events she entered and had a Hawk best 12.17 100 meter dash a good 3 tenths of a second better than Alysha Perez back during her 2017 season.
Freshman Harley Hamilton (2:14.03) scored a first place finish in his 800 meter run which put him right outside the Top 10 listing with an 11th place finish.
Senior Luke Jeckell’s first place 400 meter dash (51.59) is good for 4th place on the All-Time Top 10 List in that event.
