Hawks Baseball JV (Green-Gold) Continue Strong Play
Lake’s JV Green Squad Put Poth Pirates on Plank in, 5-4 win.
Canyon Lake JV Baseball Team came away with a 5-4 win over Poth Pirates as they wrapped up playing in the Navarro Tournament where they finished with a 3-1 Record during that tournament.
Canyon Lake JV swept Lytle in two games, 7-2 and 4-3 on Monday they also beat San Marcos JV 5-4 and San Antonio Jefferson JV 18-0 on Friday to wrap up a big week as they went 5-1 for that stretch.
The Hawks were led with big performances on the mound from Kobe Halverson, Jace Mcgoldrick, Rowan Edwards & Jacob Little during these past tournaments and big offensive games from those players.
“We have been playing great baseball as of late and we are really starting to get going” Head JV Coach Lee Self said after the Hawks big week. “I am super proud of these guys and especially these freshman like Jacob Little, Jake Welkey, Hud Hastings & Dallas Huth that have stepped up in big ways for us this week.”

For the 2026 Season the Hawks JV baseball team won 3 out of 4 of their scrimmages and their current record is 6 – 4 on the season so far.
This Green Squad will be back in action this Friday (4:30p) as they are the first game of a JV-Varsity Doubleheader in San Antonio against Taft High School.
