Hawk’s Lady Soccer Showdown With Wimberley Tuesday

        Go Hawks & Beat the Texans!

The Lake set the table with an early release (mercy win) over Bandera in their, 9-0 game last Friday which now sets up another battle this Tuesday with Wimberley. These two schools have already clinched a post-season invite.

A battle of top 6 teams according to two Texas Polls. The Texans are ranked first in MaxPreps snd The Lake coming in with a 4th place ranking.

While these two schools fight for the top district spot those other District 26-4A Schools have 4 teams battling it out for those last two playoff spots.

Right now Davenport (13 pts) leads presently and Long Creek (12 pts), Fredericksburg (10 pts) and Marble Falls (5 pts) looking for a good week to get in that running.

Canyon Lake will have a pivotal meeting against the Texans after losing, 3-1 during that first round. CL did have a one goal lead at halftime but let that second stanza get away with them as Wimbo took advantage of 3 penalty kicks leading to that loss.

Last week’s Bandera win put your Hawks at 16 wins tying their 2021 & 2024 season totals and breaking that milestone against a highly ranked opponent would put this team in rarefied air to put it lightly.

Make history Hawks and with the table being set it is now time to dine.
