Lake’s Lady Track Win 7 Events & Finish 2nd in District 26-4A Meet

Shana Cutrer, Savanna Oberholtzer, Te’a Gonzales & Aubrey Avey had a record setting 4×200 relay. Way to GO Fast Lake!
Canyon Lake finished 2nd in District 26-4A Meet last Wednesday missing their second District Title by less than 10 points. If the Hawks would have been able to pull off another District Title then that would have 2 consecutive titles a first for a sport at The Lake.
CLake was short a few players but now the future will dominate the Ladies as they prepare for Area Meet this Wednesday at Lago Vista with Field Events at 10:00am and running events with a 4:30 start.
The Lake did finish first place in seven events which helped propel this group into that chance to win this meet.
“‘I’m so proud of all of their hard work this season,’” Head Coach Sami Theurer said to the team. “’In this meet these ladies left everything on the track and ran for each other.’”
The Hawks will have several in attendance at the Area Meet who qualified in these following events:
