Lady Hawk’s Win 6th Straight Over SA Stacey, 47-14

The Canyon Lake Hawks ran their winning streak up to 6 games and 10 of their last 11 contests after 33 point win over San Antonio Stacey, 47-14.
Way to go Hawks!!
CL brought up 3 of their JV players for extra playing time and the Hawks won all the little battles for this win.
The Hawks have an average score of 45-19 during this latest run and continue their defensive suffocating game style.
The game started like many of CL’s games, with that stout defense, as the Stacey Eagles were blanked in that first period and your Hawks needed only two more baskets for what would be all the points needed in this run-a-way win.
Reagan Heun was Canyon Lake’s only double digit scorer with 12 as all the other Hawks scored as Stacey could only muster 7 points in the 2nd quarter for their biggest outbreak.
Canyon Lake had 31 steals coupled with 13 turnovers that made their poor shooting performance a non-issue. CL used 23 offensive boards to help score points. The Hawks had a 24% shooting percentage.
Caroline Kullberg and Chelsea Tschoepe kept the ball alive with 11 combined offensive boards.

Canyon Lake’s next game will be a home affair as the Hawks will welcome Austin Travis to the Hawk Nest. CL is undefeated at home this season and a good time to come out to see this 17-3 team on the hardwood.
It has been announced that the upcoming Navarro game on Tuesday December 19th, will be brought to you be the Canyon Lake Broadcasting Live Stream.
Both schools are presently ranked in the top 25 in the TABC Poll with the Panthers 20th and Canyon Lake 24th. Navarro is ranked 14th and your Hawks 17th based on the Texas Girls Coaching Association.
