The Bandera Bulldogs have clinched the District with just one game remaining the closest team to the Bulldogs being your Hawks.

With only one game left for Bandera, the race is now between the next four teams with only Boerne not able to qualify for a playoff spot.

The Hawks helped their case with the win last night over Wimberley which gives them the tie breaker in case both teams finished tied.

This Friday the Canyon Lake and Fredericksburg game can make the ending clearer or more convoluted.

√ If Canyon Lake wins out, then they would secure the second spot in the district.

√ If Canyon Lake wins the Navarro game and loses to the Billies, then Wimberley could be in second place sweeping their last three games. Doable, but the game against Bandera would be the toughest test.

√ If Fredericksburg wins the rest of their games then the Hawks would need to win the Navarro game and could finish second, third, or out of the playoffs with a loss.

√ Navarro three remaining games are with the three teams right above them in the standings. Navarro has to win all of their games and then hope Fredericksburg beats The Hawks and Wimberley loses to Bandera.

√√√ What we do know? Bandera will finish first and Boerne will end up last in District 26-3A play, the rest of the teams have two weeks to see how the beauty contest will end.
