Important Dates and Information for PARENTS

Here are a few reminders for the fast approaching football season and the start of the 2011 school year.

*July 27th & 28th Hawk Football Camp @ CLHS-Incoming 7th, 8th, & 9th Graders Time: 5:30-8:30pm  Spread the news to all 7th, 8th, & 9th graders

Cost: $40 Make checks payable to Hawk Football

*Aug. 1st-6th   1st Week of Football Practice    Time: 8:00am-Noon

*Aug. 5th           1st Day for Contact with pads

*Aug. 6th           Saturday's Practice          Time: 8:00am-Noon

*Aug. 8th-12th 2nd Week of Football Practice     Time: 8:00am-Noon

*Aug. 10th         Kickoff Fundraiser--Hawk Discount Cards

*Aug. 13th         1st Scrimmage vs. Dripping Springs Times: 9th & JV @ 8am,

Varsity will follow  All teams will scrimmage on the game field

*Aug. 15th-17th  3rd Week of Practice             Time: 5pm-9pm

*Aug. 17th         Picture Day                    Time: 5:00pm

*Aug. 18th         2nd Scrimmage vs. Lehman @ Hays HS  Times: 9th & JV @ 5pm,

Varsity will follow  All teams will scrimmage on the game field at Hayes HS

*Aug. 19th        Varsity Practice Only            Time: 9am-11am

*Aug. 20th        No Practice

*Aug. 22nd        1st Day of School

*Aug. 24th        "Meet the Hawks" on the game field  Time: 6:30pm

*Aug. 25th        9th @ SA Christian   5pm,  JV  @ Blanco    6pm

*Aug. 26th        Men's Breakfast @ FBC Canyon Lake    Time: 7:15am

                  1st Home Game vs. Blanco             Time: 7:30pm

*Aug. 27th       "Hawk Day" --Booster Club Fundraiser for All Sports "We need all of

                  our Parents to help out".

Hawk Golf Tournament at "The Hawk Club at Rebecca Creek"  @ 9am Four Man

Scramble 3rd Annual Sports Gala @ Fischer Hall 5:30pm Reverse Raffle, Silent Auction,

Drawings Etc.

The Hawk Booster Club is looking for donations, hole sponsors, etc. for either of the events.

FYI--Due to the budget cuts that Comal ISD and Canyon Lake HS Athletics are facing, the need

for booster club membership and getting involved in the upcoming booster club fundraising

events is going to be critical to all of our successes. We, as coaches, are extremely excited

about the upcoming football season and school year.

The 2011-2012 will be the best so far. If you have any questions or concerns,
