=============================================

Last week unveiled the Girls Soccer team, as they qualified for a chance to play another game.

This young team with some senior contributors will draw a bye before they find out just who their next opponent will be.

CL’s Boys Soccer team also had one of their most successful teams as they missed by just one game a chance to share the same future as the girl’s team.

The boys scored their most goals since they started playing in 2009 with 29 goals for the season.

The girls also topped the previous high of 40 goals in the 2010 season with 61 goals by this year’s team.

Girls Soccer will have this week off before they play their first playoff game. It is presumed that CL will play the winner of the Liberty Hill and Taylor Bi-District game.

Softball had a great comeback this past week winning their two games and getting back into a chance for making a run for a district title.

The girls will have a big game with Wimberley this Tuesday and then off to La Vernia, Friday with a hope of finishing this week on a four game winning streak.

Baseball is where the girls were one week earlier as Canyon Lake is still trying to figure out an offense to compliment some great pitching for the Hawks.

Not asking for much, but a couple of runs here and there would have your Hawks looking at a 2-0 record instead of 0-2.

Track & Field and Golf will get back to work this week after taking off for spring break.

Golf will have one more tournament before they have district play in two weeks, April 6-7th.

This year will have Canyon Lake with a chance for their best year as a boys team with several tournaments already played where the Hawks have been at the top.

Track & Field will have one more meet this Thursday at Wimberley and then will take two weeks off before they go against their new district brethren.

Anyway you look at it, this year has some fun sporting events for the Hawks so don’t miss out on some great happenings.

GO HAWKS!!!
