CANYON LAKE JV Wake Up in Win over the Billies
Canyon Lake Sub-Varsities both take care of Fredericksburg to remain in 2nd place in District 28-4A play.
For the Junior Varsity, there is one thing that is clear…..this team will lose their first set.

Canyon Lake will be in action tonight when they go on the road to Blanco for their last pre-district battle.
The Hawks, with a win, would finish this phase of the season undefeated. A feat only accomplished once in CL short history during the 2011 year.
If The Lake can pull off this victory then another first would have your home town team with their heads above water. It would be CL’s 59th win with 58 losses after starting their first season with an 1-9 record.
Canyon Lake did reach the .500 mark during their 2012 year with an opening season win over this very same school (Blanco).

The Blurr was still going strong during this post-game speech.
Canyon Lake’s Junior Varsity were a blurrrr in their victory over the Blanco Panthers in winning, 38-0.
“That was all offense and we just kept at it,” Coach Bret Hodges said calmly. “We were able to get out and then showed our speed.”
