CL was not rattled after a 3 run 6th inning Button rally and produced 6 hits with three going for extra bases to take Central Catholic Buttons to the wood-shed, 4-3.

Hawk Softball beat Wimberley to start their district schedule and will face two teams with a good resume in Fredericksburg and Boerne this week. Freddie will be a Tuesday home game before traveling to the Greyhounds for Friday.

This Tuesday the Hawk’s Girls Soccer regular season comes down to a final game facing Fredericksburg on the road and needing a win or tie which will put, The Lake, in post-season play.

Canyon Lake won their double header over Corpus Christi Miller in grand fashion scoring 28 runs and those two wins had Head Coach Victor Escamilla reaching 400 for his career.
Canyon Lake’s Green team won their first game over Fredericksburg before finishing the day with a tie against the Billies in that 2nd contest due to not enough pitching for the Billies.
