Canyon Lake will have much tougher games this week in playing the Needville Blue Jays (22-7) who finished 2nd in District 25-4A.

Canyon Lake has punched their ticket for an Area Round matchup against Needville after flexing their muscles in their clinching win over Gonzales, 14-3 to sweep their Bi-District series.

The Canyon Lake Hawks powered their way through Gonzales, 13-1 taking their first of a best of 3 game series as the next game returns to the Hawk Nest with first pitch Saturday at 1:00pm.

PRE-GAME Gonzales vs. Canyon Lake Friday 7:00pm
The Hawks will be starting their post-season this Friday when they travel to Gonzales for their first game of a best of three series.
Landry Brown will be the lone Hawk survivor for Track & Field’s State Meet to be held this upcoming weekend. High Jump will be her event and that is ironically the only event that CLHS has a State Champion.

Canyon Lake Baseball has finished their best regular season since play began 13 years ago with a 22 win campaign and a District 28-4A Championship under their belt.
Canyon Lake Softball will start their post-season on Wednesday at the Hawk Nest when Navarro will be the opponent in this best of three Bi-District contest.

Canyon Lake’s Baseball team will be in action this coming Friday in Lorena for a ‘warm-up’ contest as this week will be filled with practices as many 4A schools still have a week of games left on their calendars.
