The upstart CL Hawks Volleyball came into this 3-team round-robin knowing that wins would be hard to come by. The outcomes were as advertised but Canyon Lake did compete and showed signs that this season could be better as opponents come down to earth.

Canyon Lake could not get over the hump after a Needville 3 run 5th inning and bowed out of this year’s Post-Season after a, 4-2 loss.

Canyon Lake’s Alencia Lentz came home with a Gold Medal after setting a State Meet Record vaulting, 13-06 at The University of Texas Myers Stadium.
The Lake had their most athletes to qualify for this ultimate Track Meet and will look to add to this total for these upcoming years.
Canyon Lake takes 2nd game of the 3 game series and will go to battle on Saturday with the first pitch at 1:00pm in La Grange.

Canyon Lake Baseball went quietly in their first round loss to Needville, 4-1.
“I will get the idea across to the team that we will need to play one game at a time,” Head Coach Victor Escamilla said when stating on what is the mindset for this series. “Game two will stand alone and we will get after it.”

Canyon Lake finished their regular season with another 8-2 district record and finished 2nd in the league behind Boerne and will welcome Cuero to the Post-Season next week.
