The Canyon Lake Hawks stopped Navarro’s 18 game winning streak with a Tyler Pauly one hitter as these two teams will meet up again tomorrow and a CL win will put your Hawks in the Regional Semi-Finals.

Canyon Lake will be in a battle this week against Navarro starting on Thursday at 4:30pm at the NEISD Sports Complex in San Antonio. The next contest will follow on Friday at the same time and place and then if needed a clinching game on Saturday being that same Complex, repeat and rinse.

It had been a while since Canyon Lake (25-7) had faced a team with a winning record but that did not seem to faze this Hawk team as they ran their winning streak to 10 games in taking care of Needville, 11-3 in the first game of this best of three Battle of the Birds.
