Canyon Lake’s Boys Golf team place 3rd place in Fredericksburg this week as team had one of their best scores to date and will prepare for District 28-4A play this next week.

Bailey Bryan continued her hot hitting streak when she saved her best for last with a center field blast against the wind and a walk-off 3-run homer and Canyon Lake win over Hondo, 6-3.

Canyon Lake’s Boys Track Team came away with two 3rd Place finishes at last week’s Texans Relays in Wimberley.
There was an underlying theme to this Relays as Wimberley ran all over the CL to start this season at the Hawk Relays.

Canyon Lake’s Girls Track Team saw upgraded competition in the Texan Relays this past Thursday but there was a lot of excitement as CL had more personal bests and a good showing overall on Thursday as the JV finished with 140 points with a 2nd place finish and CL’s Varsity scored 106 points and a 4th place finish overall.
Hawks get 1st District 28-4A win over Hondo, 5-3
Canyon Lake got the better of Hondo after walking all over the Owls scoring a, 5-3 victory for their fist win in District 28-4A play.

Canyon Lake beat the Greyhounds out of the chute quickly for a run-away win to start District 28-4A play in Boerne, 12-2.
“It felt great,” Hawk Coach John Gallagher stated. “I told our team that we would have to show a killer instinct, especially after what happened last year.”
Canyon Lake started their District 28-4A season with a loss as the Greyhounds scored 7 runs in their bottom of the 6th inning to run rule the Hawks, 12-2.
Canyon Lake had another successful evening at the Track as both the Varsity and Junior Varsity won at the Bandera Relay last Wednesday.
The Lady Hawks have continued to have a phenomenal year with each week after finishing their 4th Meet in the Top 3 in the team standings.
Canyon Lake settled in for an 11-3 win over Jourdanton during Spring Break week at the Hawk Nest.
“We put the ball in play today,” Head Coach Victor Escamilla said.
