Canyon Lake Softball team got back on the right track after taking care of the Llano Jackets tacking on 17 hits in their win, 9-2.
The JV Hawks Track team lost to Bandera/Hondo/Johnson City/Blanco/Center Point/Comfort by just 57 points, after adding up all of those schools results, they had a total of 338 points compared to Canyon Lake’s 281 total.

Canyon Lake held on against Johnson City winning a nail-biter after the Eagles loaded the bases in their final inning, but the Hawks held serve and won, 3-2.
Canyon Lake dominated the Navarro Panther Relays by having both their Varsity and Junior Varsity finish on top of the heap against 10 other schools on Saturday.

Canyon Lake went into their first Saturday game in the Blanco/JC Tournament without 3 of their starters while resting another every day player in Maggie Banks. The results were outstanding as the Hawks achieved a lot of firsts in their, 15-3 win over San Antonio Christian.

Canyon Lake Lady Track Team turned in another 1st & 2nd with their Junior Varsity and Varsity teams for the second meet in a row. This time the team finishes were reversed as CL’s Junior Varsity dominated on their side while the Girls Varsity was short by 14 points in taking the gold.

Canyon Lake continues to show signs of having a decent year with another win over Somerset at the Devine Tournament on Friday after taking the lead in the 4th and winning, 8-5.

Canyon Lake held on for their best win to date as Bailey Bryan’s 2-run homer in the 2nd inning proved to be the two runs needed for a win, 6-4.
Canyon Lake split their two games at the Devine Tournament on Thursday with a win over Dilley, 9-0 and then losing to the host school, 8-1 in the night-cap.
Canyon Lake now has a 5 game winning streak after their first day playing in the Blanco/Johnson City Tournament.
