Canyon Lake Hawks won the last 3 quarters, 43-40 but that first stanza was brutal as the Hondo Owls put a 19 point deficit to start the game and eventual victory, 63-47 on the road last Friday night.

Canyon Lake beat Hondo for 3rd place in the Comfort Tournament as the Hawks reached 21 wins and will be back in action on January 2nd in Johnson City.
