CL’s Track & Field Boy’s Team comes in with the #1 Ranking in this years sporting events for Canyon Lake High School. This sport took care of business when they out ran the district schools to the finish line for one of 4 District 28-4A Championships!

Head Coach Troy Moses commented in much the same manner as his comments for the #5 rankings for their Area Track Meet Trophy.

Coach Troy Moses had this to say bout the Area Meet, “All I can say is Wow!!!” At the end of the meet we had a, win the 4×400 and we are Champions!! I’m just so proud of the way our kids stepped up and performed. With our 4×200 relay finishing 2nd, that was not expected.”

Canyon Lake Lady Hawks had a Track & Field Season that was so far ahead of previous years that they lapped their previous campaigns like an athlete would lap those lesser competitors on long distance events.

It is ironic that long distance events would be the only event CL does not excel at in some capacity.

Canyon Lake’s Boys Track & Field had their best season to date after winning 4 Meets and two of those get togethers, were against District 28-4A foes and then the next week CL added District 27-4A for the Area Track Title.

                                                            CANYON LAKE IS THE AREA CHAMPS!!

Canyon Lake Boys team took the Area Meet by storm in winning this  Meet for the first time in Hawk history with a dramatic 4×400 meter relay finish over Fredericksburg and Wimberley, scoring 108 points.
