Canyon Lake will be in action tonight when they go on the road to Blanco for their last pre-district battle. The Hawks, with a win, would finish this phase of the season undefeated. Canyon Lake’s Junior Varsity were a blurrrr in their victory over the Blanco Panthers in winning, 38-0. “That was all offense and we just kept at it,” Coach Bret Hodges said calmly. “We were able to get out and then showed our speed.”

By Karen Russell Holmes Was there a super star on the court Friday night for the Canyon Lake volleyball team? Nope! Because they were all stars. In a three-match sweep against Boerne, the Lady Hawks played in sync with one another as if they had played volleyball together since they were six years old.
Smithville started the game with three straight, 3 plays and a punt, and when the Tigers looked up Canyon Lake would have a 20 point lead which would end up being the final point differential in this win, 50-30.
