TOP 15 Hawk Sporting Events for 2017-18 School Year Canyon Lake made history this season as all of the Team Sporting Events qualified for a post-season game with some of those teams going further into that the playoffs ever. Hence, having a Top 15 instead of a Top 10 as in year’s past.
The Mountain Valley Hawks split two games on Saturday starting off with a 7-5 win over Smithson Valley.
Canyon Lake has released their football schedule for this Fall and it should be a good year for playing games close to home. This season, The Lake will have 6 home games and those four road battles has a Liberty Hill date with Wimberley-Blanco-and Fredericksburg comprising those other road contests.

Canyon Lake brought some hardware home after winning their first District Championship for Softball. The Lake started this year with an 0-8 mark and then after weathering that start, stormed into district play suffering just one loss.
The CL Softball Team were swept by Sealy last week ending their season after climbing to the highest perch after bowing out as an Area Finalist, 3-0.
