Canyon Lake beat the Greyhounds out of the chute quickly for a run-away win to start District 28-4A play in Boerne, 12-2. “It felt great,” Hawk Coach John Gallagher stated. “I told our team that we would have to show a killer instinct, especially after what happened last year.”

Canyon Lake started their District 28-4A season with a loss as the Greyhounds scored 7 runs in their bottom of the 6th inning to run rule the Hawks, 12-2.
Canyon Lake had another successful evening at the Track as both the Varsity and Junior Varsity won at the Bandera Relay last Wednesday. The Lady Hawks have continued to have a phenomenal year with each week after finishing their 4th Meet in the Top 3 in the team standings.
