Canyon Lake’s Volleyball Summer team won the San Marcos Summer league last week as this crew of players jump start the expectations on what might be another banner season. The Hawks entered the tournament as the #3 seeded team and faced off with the #1 seed and undefeated Seguin in round two.
Ok, The ReSporter will come out of hibernation to help the football junkies get through the dog days of Summer. Do note that The ReSporter does not have team stats for that first year and for the record, the Hawks first game with Blanco will be the 100th game played.

Mountain Valley Middle School Softball team finished 2nd for their completed season a few weeks ago after suffering a 4-0 blanking at the hands of Canyon Middle School.

Next up for this year’s countdown of the top 10 games will have us back on the football gridiron as the Hawks won an important game against Boerne that, at the time, catapulted CL into first place in their district race.
Canyon Lake released their 2017 Football Schedule and will face the same schools as last season as they will have a quest of finishing with another opportunity for playing games on top of District 28-4A. Last year, Canyon Lake, had their best season record wise since the 8-2 record during the 2011 year.
