Canyon Lake has released their football schedule for this Fall and it should be a good year for playing games close to home. This season, The Lake will have 6 home games and those four road battles has a Liberty Hill date with Wimberley-Blanco-and Fredericksburg comprising those other road contests.

Canyon Lake brought some hardware home after winning their first District Championship for Softball. The Lake started this year with an 0-8 mark and then after weathering that start, stormed into district play suffering just one loss.

Canyon Lake Lady Hawks had a Track & Field Season that was so far ahead of previous years that they lapped their previous campaigns like an athlete would lap those lesser competitors on long distance events.
It is ironic that long distance events would be the only event CL does not excel at in some capacity.

The Canyon Lake Hawks will be making a first this week as they will be traveling to Smithville to meet the Sealy Tigers in a best of 3 series. CL is in their 3rd year of post-season play and have now progressed further than those first two tries after taking care of Navarro last week.

Canyon Lake’s Boys Track & Field had their best season to date after winning 4 Meets and two of those get togethers, were against District 28-4A foes and then the next week CL added District 27-4A for the Area Track Title.
