Golf: Hawks Finish 11th in Matador Tournament

Canyon Lake Golf team finished 11th place out of 19 teams in the Matador Classic last Monday with a

Once again the CL Hawks played in a tournament of several 4A and 5A schools.

Sophomore Garrett Winters scored an 87 leading the team followed by Andrew Riali (90), Ralph Gonzales (95), Skyler Tschoepe (96), and JJ Hererra (100).

The scores are added for the top five on each team for that final score.

One key note is how well Weimer a class A school did in this tournament. Two teams and both were in the top six schools participating.
