Hawks Softball Prepares for a Huge Week
How does Canyon Lake’s Softball team get into playoff contention in this second round?

Well, one thing is for sure would be wins against Wimberley and Bandera first and part of that equation will be this Tuesday when the Hawks meet Bandera.
Canyon Lake has a huge win over Navarro a couple of games ago and that same team beat Bandera in the first round.
Since the Hawks have won their game over Navarro earlier, then that team can help even District 27-3A play. A Navarro sweep over every team but CL will wipe out that sweep from the hands of Fredericksburg.
Yes, Canyon Lake needs help but first off winning every game would make it much easier than getting out a slide rule to figure out what and where as this season gets into the stretch run.
This week is a big week for the Hawks as both teams that are on top will be on the schedule and a win agains both will be worth two games with CL evening up and at that same time those teams would take a loss.
Alexis Robinson will be huge and having teammates going to her classes and writing her papers will help in keeping her arm fresh and allow her to be strong as these games get into those last innings.
Canyon Lake has had problems in the later innings and playing teams even tells you that there are not that many items needed to fall into place for turning those losses into wins.
Getting a few more bats hot will certainly help and of course making routine plays on defense would be a great way to end this season.
