Varsity Lady Hawks Score 153 Points in Panther Relays

The Lady Hawks was just off by 13 points in taking down Wimberley during the Panther Relays. These two schools dominated the other 6 schools as the rivalry with the Texans might be heating up based on CL’s upgrade this track season.

         Way to Make it Count Hawks!!

Savanna Olberholtzer continued her record by scoring in all 5 events she entered garnering 30 points in leading The Lake in scoring. She had no finish lower than 3rd place and another 6 Hawks were also scored in double digits on this night.

Cadence Patterson finished 1st in her specialty in distance races running the 1600 & 3200 meter events.

Ayren Lightfoot and Alencia Lentz both finished with 18 points while Sophomore Hannah Hammer finished with 16 points after scoring in 3 events.

Two Freshman, Aubrey Avey (13 points) & Shana Cutrer (12 points) were the other two Hawks with over 10 points.

Canyon Lake also had 7 other participants who were able to add to CL’s total of 153 points.

The Hawks will be back on the cinders this Thursday when they host this week’s track & field meet.

Come out and support these students and take in many who will be knocking on the State Meet’s doors for entrance this year.
